These new course versions offer several more customization options throughout the experience in addition to options in the now-legacy courses, such as unique policies and resources. This is a perfect time to review your existing in-course configurations to make sure they are up-to-date and accurate.

A few areas to pay attention to:

  • Policies are current
  • Resources have accurate information and contact information is adjusted for any turnover
  • In-course Welcome and Closing Letters are relevant and any dates are adjusted
  • Assignment Invitations and Reminders use dynamic content instead of specific dates ( {{the content in these brackets are dynamic}} )

Whether you are adding new configurations or applying your existing ones to the new courses, see the instructions.

*Note: Follow the “Transpose Configurations” instructions only if the format of the policy or resource remains unchanged. If you want to upload a different format, then follow the “Add New Configurations” instructions.

One of the new features with these updated courses is the ability to add more of your own custom content within learning experiences. On these fully configurable pages, you can add your own messaging and graphics that truly resonate with your learners. Additionally, many of these new courses offer the option to attach multiple policies and resources.

*Note: Follow this process if you want to upload a different format of your policy or resource to the new course version.
