Reminders are set up to launch to learners when you set up an assignment.

  1. Log into your administrator platform
  2. Click on Assignments
  3. Select New Assignment in the right hand corner
  4. Click on the type of assignment you wish to send (Quick or automated)
  5. Complete the form by adding:
    • Name
    • Learning activity
    • Learners
    • Invite and due date
  6. Once you have added your criteria, click on “ShowAdvanced Settings”
  7. Click on “edit”
  8. Select your reminder schedule and click save

You can also send an instant reminder by:

  1. Locating the assignment you wish to remind learners for
  2. Expand the assignment box
  3. Click on “Instant Reminder” in the bottom right-hand corner

This will send one email to any learner who has not completed the course.


Higher Ed Partner Center

Go to the Manage Learners section of the site or click on a progress point on the Dashboard to get started. To send Part 1 reminders:

  1. Select the “Registered/Not Started” and “Part 1 Started” progress points.
  2. Click the blue “Email All” button to email those individuals directly from the EVERFI system, or click “Download” to access a report, which you can use to email those individuals from your own system.

To identify and email participants who have not yet registered for the course, you can use the Find Unregistered Students Tool located in the Partner Center within the “learners” tab. Review the Find Unregistered Students Guide for step-by-step instructions on using the tool.

To send Part 2 reminders:

  1. Select the “Part 2 Ready” and “Part 2 Started” progress points.
  2. Click the blue “Email All” button to email those individuals directly from the EVERFI system, or click “Download” to access a report, which you can use to email those individuals from your own system.”

After assignments are made you can use the Auto Eminder tool in the Notifications section of the EVERFI Admin Toolbox to set up and schedule reminder emails to be sent to your users who have outstanding assignments still due. You can also use the Manual Eminder tool to send reminder emails to one user or multiple users as needed. Check out our videos and step-by step instructions below on how to use these tools.

Troubleshooting

There are a few reasons why a user would receive notifications regarding an assignment.

  1. The user may have multiple courses assigned to them that they are not aware of.
  2. The user may still have an incomplete course and may still have a few lessons or slides left to work through within their course to achieve 100% completion.
  3. The user may have duplicate records within your account and may be receiving notifications for the courses assigned to those records.

I don’t think my user is receiving emails, what can I do?

Although most notifications are received within an hour or two, larger batches of notifications can take up to 24 hours to be received. If it has been over 24 hours, please ask the user to check their spam or junk folders in their email inboxes to see if the email landed there.

You may need to work with your IT department to whitelist our email domains and IP addresses to ensure emails from our system are not flagged and/or blocked.


Create a Course Reminder

  1. Click the NOTIFICATIONS  icon in the global navigation on the left.
  2. Select the INVITATIONS link.
  3. In the INVITATIONS page, click on the +Create New Reminder button.
    1. Fill in all the required reminder content fields.
    2. Fill in all the Reminder Scheduler Options.
    3. Click the Save Notification button.

Delete a Course Reminder

  1. Click the NOTIFICATIONS  icon in the global navigation on the left.
  2. Select the INVITATIONS link.
  3. In the INVITATIONS page, click on the Edit Reminder button.
  4. Click the Delete Reminder button at the bottom right of the page.

Send an Individual Course Invitation or Reminder

  1. Click the USERS  icon in the global navigation on the left.
  2. Click Manage Users.
  3. Enter a complete or partial name or a complete unique ID into the search field.
  4. Start typing a complete or partial name or a complete unique ID into the search field, the user list should automatically filter.
  5. Click the user you’d like to view to access the User Detail page.
  6. Click the Actions button to the right of the appropriate course and select Send Notification.
  7. Select the notification type, and specific notification you’d like to send from the dropdown menu.
  8. Click the Send Now button.

Schedule a Course Reminder 

      1. Click the

    NOTIFICATIONS  icon in the global navigation on the left.

  1. Select the INVITATIONS link.
  2. In the INVITATIONS page, click on the +Create New Reminder button.
    1. Fill in all the required reminder content fields.
    2. Fill in all the Reminder Scheduler Options.
    3. Click the Save Notification button.

Send a Course Reminder Once

  1. Click the NOTIFICATIONS  icon in the global navigation on the left.
  2. Select the INVITATIONS link.
  3. In the INVITATIONS page, click on the +Create New Reminder button.
    1. Fill in all the required reminder content fields.
    2. Click the Send Once Options button.
    3. Select recipients in the Please Select Recipients dialog.
    4. Click the Send button.
