The month of May celebrates Mental Health Awareness, a topic that is more critical than ever with the situation that all of us are currently facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With many people forced to take on roles that they typically don’t play, to schooling and working from home, taking care of your mental well-being can easily get overlooked but it is more important than ever. EVERFI is committed to providing vital resources to help you support students, families, and employees during this unprecedented time. EVERFI is pleased to provide tools and activities to help you empower your community with critical knowledge and skills necessary to build, maintain and promote positive mental health.

Week One

  • May is #MentalHealthMonth! How are you supporting your mental health during this time? #MindfulMoments
  • Showing gratitude is an awesome way to help reinforce positivity in others lives. Let’s support all of our teachers during this time of #RemoteLearning. Thank you teachers for your investment in our students #MindfulMoments

Week Two

  • Everyone reacts differently in stressful situations, and during these uncertain times, we need to be there to support others. We are all together in this, so let’s #BreaktheStigma and show our compassion to our family, loved ones and neighbors.
  • Although most of us are at home, that doesn’t always make our responsibilities easier. With remote and digital learning, students and teachers can stay connected and focused. #MindfulMoments

Week Three

  • Take this time of social distancing to take care of your mind and body. Start by taking breaks throughout the day to meditate, exercise, stretch and cook healthy meals. You can do this alone, or remotely with people you know. #MindfulMoments
  • Lean on yourself, family and friends to help you cope with stress during these uncertain times. Maintain your productivity by keeping a work-life balance while at home. #MindfulMoments

Week Four

  • Social distancing can be more difficult for some than others. Connect with people you trust about how you are feeling to release your negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones. We’re all in this together. #MindfulMoments
  • Thank you for joining us for #MentalHealthMonth and taking the time to refocus and prioritize your mental well-being.  #MindfulMoments
