Thank you for introducing PNC sponsored EVERFI courses in your classroom!

We value your commitment to teaching real-world skills and to bringing financial literacy to your classroom. To keep your students learning, we’ve provided resources below to share PNC financial solutions with their families. These tools will help students and their families talk about what they learned, why they learned it, and how to apply their skills moving forward. Families will also have the opportunity the learn more about what PNC has to offer students along their financial journeys.

This toolkit features messaging and graphics for the learning management system, communication apps, newsletters and/or email systems that you already use to speak with families. We’ve provided materials that help families talk about the personal finance and investing topics that your students learned about in EVERFI courses and tools to further explore these topics with PNC.

PNC is committed to growing the financial wellness of high school students by bringing free, standards-aligned, digital lessons to your students and giving them the tools to take the next step in their financial journey by applying their knowledge in the real-world.

Dear Parent and/or Guardian,

Having a solid understanding of financial literacy is a critical life skill, and it’s one that can be taught both in the classroom and at home.

Your child is strengthening their financial acumen in the classroom by completing Money Moves: Modern Banking & Identity Protection®, a digital program that helps students develop strategies for managing their finances through online and mobile banking tools. Through interactive and immersive simulations, students make wise decisions that support their current and future financial well-being, with an emphasis on safe and responsible use of virtual payment apps as well as online fraud prevention. In this course, students cover fundamental financial topics such as online banking portals and mobile apps, how to identify common online scams, and the costs and benefits of different virtual payment apps.

We are eager for your student to participate in this innovative, engaging educational experience at school. To continue the conversation with your child at home and find out how to help them apply their knowledge to real life, please visit PNC.com/MoneyMatters.
